Privacy Policy

BeadStudio ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and where it is stored.

Data we collect

Account data: email address, optional display name, and password stored only as a bcrypt hash (or Google account ID when using Google sign-in).
Design data: patterns you create, uploaded photos, and follow-mode progress.
Subscription status: retrieved from Google Play via RevenueCat to verify active plans.

Photo handling

Uploaded photos and conversion caches are automatically deleted after 30 days. Photos are processed only on our own servers and are never shared with third parties or used for anything other than creating your pattern.

Email communications

We send transactional emails only — password reset codes and password-changed notices — via Resend. We never send marketing emails.

Payments

All payments are processed by Google Play. We never see your card details. RevenueCat processes purchase records to verify subscription status.

Where your data lives

All BeadStudio servers are hosted on a Contabo VPS located in France (EU). Your data remains within the European Union and is subject to EU data protection regulations, including the GDPR.

No tracking or ads

BeadStudio contains no advertising, no tracking pixels, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party data sharing. We do not sell your data.

Account deletion

Deleting your account in Settings immediately removes your account, all patterns, conversion jobs and uploaded photos. Cancel subscriptions separately in Google Play.

Age requirement

BeadStudio is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at admin@geekbug.dev.

Changes to this policy

We will notify registered users by email of any material changes. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
